The nationals of the above-mentioned countries do not need a visa to enter or to transit the territory of the Republic of Moldova and can enter its territory and stay there without a visa for a period up to 90 days within six months from the first entry. Starting with the 1st of January 2007, the Republic of Moldova abolished the visa regime for the Czech citizens and for citizens of other Member States of the European Union, as well as for the citizen of the Unites States of America, Canada, Norway, Iceland, Swiss Confederation and Japan.
