Today, 29 January, at a ceremony, the new Ambassador of the Czech Republic with resdence in Chisinau, H.E. Jaromír Kvapil, presented his credentials to the Acting President of the Republic of Moldova Mihai Ghimpu.

During the ceremony, ambassadors of other five states with residence in Bucharest and Kyiv were accredited. They are Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil H.E. Antonio Fernando Cruz de Mello, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands H.E. Jan Peter Wolters, Ambassador of the Republic of Greece H.E. Georgios Georgountzos, Canadian Ambassador H.E. Philippe Beaulne, and, last but not least, the Ambassador of Spain H.E. Estanislao de Grandes Pascual.
