Deputy Premier, Foreign and European Integration Minister Iurie Leanca today participated in an informal meeting of the group of Moldova's friends at the level of foreign ministers of the EU member states in Brussels. The meeting was held in the context of a meeting of the EU Council of Foreign Ministers.

The participants in the meeting examined evolutions in Moldova and identified ways to jointly promote the priorities of Moldova's European integration.

In Brussels, Leanca had bilateral meetings with officials of the European Commission and the Secretariat-General of the EU Council, during which Moldova was assured of the EU's full support, including through mechanisms of financial assistance for internal reforms. Making progress in negotiations on an association agreement and launching talks on the visa regime in the near future are the irrefutable priorities in the dialogue between Moldova and the EU.
