A Moldovan delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Iurie Leanca will visit Brussels on 8-9 December to participate in two important political and diplomatic events.
A ministerial meeting of the Eastern Partnership, due on 8 December, will consider the first results recorded by this EU initiative. The head of the Moldovan diplomacy will inform participants about the evolution in the implementation of the Eastern Partnership. Leanca will also express his vision on ways to optimise the application of instruments offered by the project. On 9 December, Moldova's delegation will participate in a conference, "EU - Western Balkans: Let's overcome the economic crisis", organised by the European Commission. Foreign ministers from EU and South-Eastern European countries are invited to the event Iurie Leanca will also participate in the debates organised by the Brussels-based European Policy Centre. He will have bilateral meetings with his counterparts from EU member states and officials of European institutions. |
