Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova and the Czech Ministry of Finance will sign shortly a Memorandum of cooperation, which will facilitate the development of the fiscal system of Moldova.

According to Finance Minister Veaceslav Negruta, the signing of this document will strengthen bilateral relations between the two ministries. The signing of the Memorandum is important, due to the desire of Moldova to gain experience from the European Union member states in harmonizing national fiscal legislation with the European standards.

Veaceslav Negruta also stressed that the Republic of Moldova is interested in the Czech experience in the field of public finance, and the signing of the Memorandum of cooperation will intensify the exchange of experiences between experts in the field of implementation of European practices in the area of tax policy, economic agents accounting, public finance management, budget, etc.

Moldovan-Czech cooperation between the Ministries of Finance will also include study visits, exchange of relevant information, consultations, workshops and other forms of work that can be determined by both parties.
